Yoko Oginome, “Dancing Hero / Dancing Colours”
The highlight of the “Miyuki” anime adaptation is Yoko Oginome’s absolutely fantastic, standout, brilliant turn as Miyuki (Wakamatsu). It’s so natural and radically different from how one would ever expect the role to be played. Sadly, it’s the only seiyuu work she ever did. …or maybe that’s not actually that sad, as it landed right on the cusp of her popularity booming, which resulted in a ton of music videos as badass as this one.
